see him listed as tailor, Ipswich, in 1830 Pigot's Directory,
mar 1831 to Sarah Shekel Runnacles [born 1804, Suffolk],
they are listed at Bacton, Suffolk, in 1841 census, he is farmer,
described as "retired tradesman" in son Samuel's census entry 1851,
he died 1871, Ipswich, see probate granted 1871,
bur Old Municipal Cemetery, Section J, Ipswich, see grave,
she died 1882,
bur Old Municipal Cemetery, Section J, Ipswich, see grave,
had issue:


  1. Samuel Anness,
    Samuel Richard Anness,
    written as "Sam" on Baldry family tree,
    born 30 Dec 1833, Ipswich, Suffolk (1851 census says born Ipswich St.Peter),
    bapt 16 Feb 1834, St.Peter's, Ipswich.
    Mayor of Ipswich.


  2. Martha Anness,
    born 1838, Suffolk,
    died 1850.

  3. Richard Anness,
    born 1840, Suffolk,
    died 1905.

Must be the younger Richard Anness (born 1840).
