mar 1stly, romantic mar 1772 to Mary Teresa Grady and had issue:

1. Elizabeth Fox Strangways,
   mar 1796 to William Davenport-Talbot of Lacock Abbey (S of Chippenham, Wiltshire),
   had issue:
   1. William Henry Fox Talbot, the pioneer photographer,
      born 1800, Lacock Abbey,
      his book, Pencil of Nature, 1844-6, is the first book to be illustrated entirely with photographs.

2. Louisa Emma Fox Strangways,
   mar Henry Fitzmaurice, 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne (see here),
   he purchased the Reynolds portrait of Jane Maltass in 1813,
   had issue (ancestor of Marquess of Lansdowne).

succ as 2nd Earl of Ilchester 1776,
Mary Teresa died 14th June 1790, age 35 yrs,
mar 2ndly 1794 and had issue (ancestor of Earl of Ilchester),
died 5th Sept 1802, age 55 yrs.
