            MP for Tralee 1807 (though he decided to sit instead for Newport, Isle of Wight),

            defeated Napoleon at Waterloo 1815,
            Prime Minister 1828-30, passed Catholic emancipation 1829,
            bur St. Paul's Cathedral.
            Ancestor of Dukes of Wellington.
