Quinsborough House, Co.Clare,
was built 1767 by George Quin,
inherited by his Taylour
descendants, they changed their surname to Quin 1813,
sold to the Horan family by deed dated 27th Apr 1832
[Deed, 1898], [Houses of Clare]
thought it was the Honan family,
bought by
Ellen Mangan 1898
after the death of her husband
Richard Rahilly,
she and her dau
Anno
and later her other dau
Nell Humphreys
lived there,
see Childhood photos,
the family left Quinsborough and moved to Dublin, c.Mar 1909,
think they didn't sell Quinsborough immediately,
[Aodogán] once
met the occupant of Quinsborough, who said he had title deeds that showed
"your aunt" (Anno) "still owned Quinsborough in 1920",
must have kept Quinsborough, leased it to new occupants,
only sold it when built
Ailesbury Rd 1920.
The house was modernised in 20th cent,
survives today.

Note flagpole on LHS.
It is thought the wings (servants' area, kitchen, pantry, dairy, etc.)
are 18th century too,
though they are not visible here.
It is thought they are hidden by trees here.
