farmer, of Curramore House, Loghill par, Co.Limerick.
"Richard McCoy" sp the bapt of his niece Catherine McCoy in 1836.
He mar 20 Nov 1840 [Rathkeale RC par records] to Margaret Mulcahy [born 1822].
"Richard McCoy" is listed at Curramore in [Griffiths Valuation, 1852].
Richard died 1855.
Margaret died Mar 1895, Dublin.

Timothy's sons are listed as her nephews.
Richard and Margaret had issue:


  1. Patrick McCoy, born 1841,
    would be after grandfather.
    He inherited Curramore House.
    He mar 1878 to Ellen Cuddihy [or Helen, born 1846 or 1854].
    He died 1901, age 60 yrs.

    She died 1912.
    They had issue:


    1. Richard McCoy, born 1885.
      He inherited Curramore House.
      He mar 1931 to Mary Mullane [born 1905].
      Mary was dau of James Mullane and Johanna Ahern.
      James Mullane was son of John Mullane and Anne Nolan.
      Anne Nolan (or Anna) was born 1837, Co.Limerick (possibly Shanagolden). She is thought to be a relation of Nolan of Waterpark. She married 4 Feb 1860 to John Mullane.

  2. Kate McCoy,
    Catherine, Kathleen, born 1843.
    She mar 5 May 1861 [Loghill RC par records] to George Barry [born 1841]. See image.
    They lived William St, Limerick.
    He died 1887.
    He was bur Glasnevin. See grave.
    As a widow, Kate ran Barry's Hotel in Great Denmark St, Dublin (established 1889).
    See her hotel listed in 1911 census.
    She died 1920.
    Barry's Hotel still exists. See street view.


  3. Bessie McCoy,
    Elizabeth, born 1849 or 1851.
    She mar 25 July 1876 [St.Michael's, Limerick, RC par records] to David Sheehy, MP [born 1844] and had issue.
