Daniel Duggan,
farmer,
alive in 1892,
had issue:


Daniel Duggan,
born 1854 (by age at death) or 1855 (by age in census), Co.Clare.
Lived Ennis, Co.Clare. Living there at mar. He is "shopkeeper".
He mar 28 February 1892, Quin RC church, Co.Clare, to Sarah Clune [born 1864 or 1865, Co.Clare, dau of James Clune, farmer].
At mar she is living Quin, Co.Clare.

He is listed at son's birth 1894 as "shop assistant", living Causeway, Ennis, Co.Clare.
They are listed in 1901 census at Gaol St (now O'Connell St), Ennis. They have 1 servant. He is "boot merchant".
They are listed in 1911 census at O'Connell St (same place), Ennis. He is "shopkeeper".
He died 17 Jan 1915, Lifford, Ennis. See death cert from here. He is "boot merchant". Death registered by son George, who was then living "Jail St", Ennis.
Daniel and Sarah had issue:


  1. Dr. George Duggan,
    George Francis Duggan, born 22 July 1894, Causeway, Ennis, Co.Clare [GROI].
    Doctor. M.B., B.Ch.
    He was a ship's doctor. He met Maureen on a cruise.
    Lived and practised 199 Howth Rd, Clontarf, Co.Dublin. There as at mar 1937.
    He mar 29 Sept 1937 to Maureen O'Mara [born 13 Dec 1901, descendant through Blennerhassett of Edward III].
    He was later dispensary doctor in Howth, Co.Dublin (this may refer to Howth Road rather than Howth).
    He died 4 June 1955 [mass card], age 60 yrs.
    Funeral mass celebrated by Fr. Paddy O'Mara. The Attorney General Patrick McGilligan attended the funeral. See funeral list.
    He was bur Glasnevin.
    Maureen stayed living 199 Howth Rd, Clontarf. Still listed there in [Thom's, 1978-79].
    She is gone from there in [Thom's, 1980].
    She died 22 May 1990, age 88 yrs, bur Glasnevin.
    George and Maureen had issue:


    1. Donal Duggan.


    2. Sheila Duggan,
      Sheila Deirdre Duggan,
      born 6 Sept 1939 [death cert].
      She died 20 Sept 1939, age 14 days [death cert], or 21 Sept [grave], of spina bifida, at Temple St Hospital, Dublin.

      She was bur Glasnevin.


    3. Nuala Duggan.
      She mar Michael Lordan and had issue.
