Georg moved with the children to Salzburg, Austria,
mar 2ndly, 1927, to Maria Kutschera [born 1905, governess of his daughter] and had issue:

3. Johannes von Trapp, born 1939.

famous singing family, performed across Europe,
fled Austria when the Nazis came 1938,
went to US 1938,
their house in Salzburg, the Villa von Trapp, was taken for a headquarters by the Nazi mass murderer Himmler 1939,
the family settled in Stowe, Vermont, 1942,
Georg died 1947, age 67 yrs.

Maria wrote about their story 1949,
inspired the German film Die Trapp Familie (1956), think this was shown in English as The Trapp Family,
the sequel Die Trapp Familie in Amerika (1958),
the Broadway show The Sound of Music (1959),
the Hollywood movie The Sound of Music (1965), Maria was played by Julie Andrews,
Maria died 1987, age 82 yrs.
