Michael Rynne,
merchant,
mar Eliza Lysaght [or Elizabeth],
she apparently descends from Robert Barnewall, 9th Baron Trimlestown (died 1689),
and hence through Nugent from 8th Earl of Kildare, descendant of Edward I and of Aoife Mac Murrough,
had issue:


  1. Dr. Michael Rynne,
    Michael Andrew Lysaght Rynne,
    known as "Miko", NOT "Mickso",
    of Ennis, Co.Clare,
    born 1868 [grave], [GRO.UK], NOT 1870,
    educ St. Flannan's college, Ennis,
    doctor, MD, surgeon, in England,
    he is listed as living "Totten", Southampton, at mar, must be Totton,
    mar 1898 to Mary O'Mara [bapt 12th June 1876],
    they lived Southampton,
    he was ship's doctor, stayed in port,
    at children's births 1899 to 1901 they are listed as living Eling Lane, Eling, just outside Southampton (see map),
    at dau's birth 1904 they are listed as living Eling Lodge, Eling,
    moved to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, c. early 1907,
    he died 20 July 1907, 1 Osborne Villas, Queens Rd, Cheltenham (see map), age 39 yrs [grave], [GRO.UK],
    he died suddenly and totally unexpectedly, of heart attack, "due to fatty degeneration of the heart", inquest held 22 July,
    bur Rynne family vault, Drumcliff Cemetery, Ennis, Drumcliff par, Co.Clare.

    Mary left with 3 small children,
    her mother died 1910,
    she came back to Ireland with children and moved into Strand House with her father, she was the lady of the house,
    she went to Connie von Trapp's wedding, Austria, 1914,
    she had a role (age 42) in Jim Sullivan's film of Knocknagow 1918, she played Isabella Lloyd, the Lady of the Big House, who fed the small boy (Cyril Cusack), she apparently went under a pseudonym since it wouldn't have been quite the thing to do for such a respectable lady, a director of O'Mara's company,

    she was a Director of O'Mara's bacon company at time of O'Mara's centenary, 1939,
    she lived to see great-grandchildren,
    living "Greenfields", Milltown, Co.Dublin, at time of death,
    died 6th Feb 1961, 96 Lr Leeson St, Dublin, age 84 yrs [grave], [GROI],
    her death cert incorrectly describes her as widow of a "solicitor",
    bur Drumcliff Cemetery, Ennis, Co.Clare,

    2. Stephen Rynne,
      Stephen O'Mara Rynne,
      born 25 Oct 1901, Eling Lane, Eling, Southampton [GRO.UK].


    3. Mary Rynne,
      born 28 June 1904, Eling Lodge, Eling, Southampton [GRO.UK],
      educ Highgate convent, London,
      wonder if she is "Mary Rynn" listed as getting BA from NUI 1925 [NUI, 1964],
      author,
      she wrote play The Pilgrims, which was performed in the Abbey Theatre,
      called "Littlewee" [John O'Sullivan],
      didn't marry,
      living Harbour Lodge, Greystones, Co.Wicklow, from at least 1965 until death [GROI],
      died 16th Sept 1976, Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin [GROI], age 72 yrs.
