Maurice Moynihan,
bapt 10 December 1838, Killarney, Co.Kerry,
emigrated to Australia before 1869 (his parents and siblings came over in 1869),
lived Brisbane,
mar 30 Jan 1870, Queensland, to Bridget Higins [maybe should be Higgins, meant to be born 1828, but makes her rather old for children],
as at 1901 they were living Ascot, Brisbane (see map),
he died 11 May 1905, Brisbane, age 66 yrs,
funeral 13 May 1905, bur Nudgee Cemetery,
she died 31 Oct 1913, Ascot, meant to be age 85 yrs,
funeral 1 Nov 1913, bur Nudgee Cemetery,
had issue:

  1. Jeremiah Joseph Moynihan,
    born 14 Feb 1872, Queensland,
    died 11 June 1901, at his parents' house, Ascot, Brisbane, age 29 yrs,
    funeral 13 June 1901, bur Nudgee Cemetery,
    see death notice on p.1180 of The Queenslander, 22 June 1901.

  2. Mary Ann Moynihan,
    born 9 June 1873, Queensland,
    died unmarried, 25 Jan 1911, Brisbane, age 37 yrs,
    funeral 26 Jan 1911, bur Nudgee Cemetery.

  3. Daniel Moynihan,
    born 29 May 1875, Queensland,
    died 25 Dec 1881, Brisbane, age 6 yrs,
    bur Nudgee Cemetery.
