Robert Dowling,
born 1901, New York,
educ Fordham University and New York University,
mar pre-1930 to Evelyn Lynn [born 12 Aug 1908, New York],
they lived New Rochelle, Westchester County, NY,
they were living 51 Rockland Place, New Rochelle, in 1935 (according to 1940 census),
see entry in 1940 US census, they are living 51 Rockland Place, New Rochelle (see map), they have one servant living with them,
they later lived 108 Forest Ave, New Rochelle, there by 1955,

he was very successful businessman, travelled all over the world,
from 1947 to 1966 he was president of the Sanforized Company, a division of the menswear manufacturers Cluett, Peabody and Co,
the Sanforized Company held the patent for the "Sanforized" process to prevent garments shrinking, obituary describes him as "a clothing executive who popularized the Sanforizing process in the 1940's and 1950's",
from 1954 to 1962, he was also president of Arrow International, a Cluett, Peabody division that made Arrow shirts and other products,

he died at his home, New Rochelle, Tue 21 Apr 1987, age 86 yrs,

Evelyn lived 108 Forest Ave, New Rochelle, until death,
died at her home, New Rochelle, 7 Jan 2010, age 101 yrs,
bur Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester, Westchester County, New York (see map),

had issue:
