(Ryan is by far the most numerous surname in Co.Tipperary.
There are so many Ryans in Co.Tipperary that they often have an additional "family name" to identify them.)
Our family starts with:

His family was called the Ryan "Tim" family.
He was a
farmer in Newross, Kilnarath par,
NE of Newport, Co.Tipperary.
He married before 1814.
There is a Catholic William Ryan of Newross
who
must be closely related.
Probably a brother of Tim Ryan.

So in theory, Bridget and Tim could be the siblings, and William just married in.
But then would William be referred to as "William Ryan (Timothy)"?
And would he go to live with an in-law nephew, not a blood relation nephew?
I think it is more likely William and Tim are siblings.
