reigned 1406-37,
mar 1424 to Joan Beaufort [descendant of Edward III],
assassinated 1437,
bur Perth Charterhouse, Perth, Scotland (of which nothing survives today),
had issue:

  1. Isabel Stuart, born 1426,
    mar 1442 to Francis I, Duke of Brittany.
    She is NOT ancestor of Henry II, King of France (and here).
    He descends from 2nd wife of Francis II, Duke of Brittany, not 1st wife.

  2. James II, King of Scotland, born 1430, reigned 1437-60.
