    bapt 18 Feb 1740 (might be 1741 new style), Whittlesey.
    He mar 2ndly, 1770, to Elizabeth Hunt.
    Sheriff of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire 1802-1803.
    He died 10 June 1806. He was bur Whittlesey.
    She died 11 Jan 1807. She was bur Whittlesey.
    Thomas had issue by 2nd wife:

    1. Thomas Aveling,
      born 20 Sept 1771,
      bapt 23 Sept 1771, Whittlesey.


  2. James Aveling,
    bapt 10 Sep 1755, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
    He mar 1777 to Elizabeth Sharp [bapt 23 Apr 1754].
    He died 24 Jan 1810 in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, age 54 yrs.
    He was bur 27 Jan 1810, St Mary's, Whittlesey, Cambridgshire.
    She died 29 Apr 1810 in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, age 56 yrs.
    She was bur 1 May 1810, St Mary's, Whittlesey.
    They had issue:

    1. James Aveling,
      bapt 12 Sep 1778 in Whittlesey,
      died c.1815, age c.37 yrs.

    2. Elizabeth Aveling,
      bapt 2 May 1785 in St Mary's, Whittlesey,
      mar 23 Oct 1820 to John Brown.
