mar 2ndly to Lady Anne Churchill and had issue:

1. Charles Spencer, 3rd Duke of Marlborough, of Blenheim [inherited his mother's family title],
   born 1706, portrait at Wilton,
   mar Elizabeth Trevor,
   died 1758 [Elizabeth died 1761],
   having had issue:
   1. Lady Elizabeth Spencer, born Jan-Mar 1737,
      mar 1756 to Henry Herbert, 10th Earl of Pembroke and had issue.

   2. George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough, born 1739.

   3. Lady Diana Spencer, mar Topham Beauclerk and had issue.

   1. John Spencer, 1st Earl Spencer, born 1734, had issue:
      1. George Spencer, 2nd Earl Spencer, born 1758, mar Lavinia Bingham [born 1762] and had issue:

            mar 2ndly to Adelaide Seymour [descendant of Charles II and of James II, see Table 7 in [Moncreiffe, 1982], and here and here],
            had issue [ancestor of Earls Spencer, and of Princess Diana].

         2. Georgiana Spencer, mar George Quin and had issue.
