Major Arthur Blennerhassett, of Ballyseedy,
born 26th June 1856,
his father died 1859,
succ to Ballyseedy 1859 (age 3), held it for 80 yrs,
re-modelled Ballyseedy in 1880, gave the main S block a medieval-revival look,
mar 1882 to Clara Nesta Fitzgerald,
listed as of Ballyseedy in Guy's Directory 1886,
JP, MBE, DL,
died 3rd May 1939, age 82 yrs,
(todo) see obituary, [Co.Kerry Soc. annual report 1939-40] p.3,
had issue:

  1. Hilda Blennerhassett, born 1884,
    the last in Ballyseedy,
    corresponded with Pat Lavelle 1965,
    died unmarried 1965, age 81 yrs,
    (todo) see obituary, The Kerryman, 11th Dec 1965, p.16,
    left Ballyseedy to Sir Adrian Blennerhassett, 7th Baronet (who sold it 1967).
