wonder if he is Joseph Hickie of Listowel (son of Michael Hickie of Listowel) who was apprenticed to the hardware firm of McKennas, Market St, Listowel, see contract of employment dated 1 Feb 1898 in [Gaughan, 1974],
living with family in 1901 census, listed as "scholar",
emig to US early 1900s, supported by sister Josephine,
was to be a priest, but left seminary and married,
mar Sadie Scott,
he was a tool and die maker,
he died 1949 or c.1958 [David Hickie],
she might be "Mrs. J.B. Hickey, a sister-in-law, of Springfield", Ohio, listed as a surviving relative of Josephine in 1949,
had issue:


  1. Dorothy Hickie, born 1906,
    mar Irwin Uhl [Irv, born pre-1906],
    she died 1976 in New York, age 70 yrs,
    had issue:

    1. Kenneth Uhl, mar Judi ---- and had issue:
      1. Rachel Uhl.

    born 1912 in New York City,
