William Vaux, 3rd Baron Vaux of Harrowden (see here),
born shortly before 14th Aug 1535,
mar Mary Tresham [dau of his 2nd cousin, descendant of Edward III],
died 1595, age 60 yrs,
had issue:

1. George Vaux (and here), bapt 1564,
   died 1594 (in lifetime of his father), age 30 yrs,
   had issue:
   1. Edward Vaux, 4th Baron Vaux of Harrowden, born est temp 1590,
      succeeded his grandfather 1595, died 1661.

   2. Catherine Vaux (and here),
      or Katherine, born est temp 1590,
      mar Henry Neville, 9th Baron Abergavenny and had issue.

• Title fell into abeyance 1663. Not resolved until 1838.

• Harrowden Hall:
  • The Vaux seat, Harrowden Hall, Great Harrowden, was sold 1695 to the Wentworth family.
  • It was replaced in 1719 by the new Harrowden Hall.
  • Harrowden Hall (or Great Harrowden Hall) is now (since 1975) Wellingborough Golf Club. The landscape park is now a golf course.
