He mar Isabel Home [descendant of Robert III, King of Scotland and of Henry I].
He died Feb 1588.
They had issue:


William Kerr,
of Ancram and Woodheid.

He was assassinated in Edinburgh, Dec 1590, by his cousin Robert Ker, the future 1st Earl of Roxburghe.
William and Margaret had issue:

    born 1578.
