farmer, of Ballynabrennagh Upper, Ratass par, NE of Tralee, Co.Kerry,
listed at children's bapts 1821 to 1831 as of Ballynabrennagh (various spellings, but clearly refers to Ballynabrennagh),
"Denis Callaghan" is listed in Ballynabrennagh Upper in [Tithe Survey, 1824],
had issue:


  1. Mary O'Callaghan,
    bapt 6 April 1821 [Tralee RC par records], sp Patrick Callahan and Mary Cook.
    "Mary O'Callaghan" sp bapt of James O'Callaghan 1853.
    "Mary Callaghan" sp bapt of Helen O'Callaghan 1857.
    "Mary Callaghan" sp bapt of Mary O'Callaghan 1859.


  2. Ellen O'Callaghan,
    bapt 4 August 1824 [Tralee RC par records], sp Maurice Sheehan and Ellen Savage.
    "Ellen O'Callaghan" sp bapt of Denis O'Callaghan 1852.


  3. John O'Callaghan,
    or John Callaghan,
    born Co.Kerry,
    born 1827 [by age on gravestone],
    bapt 28 June 1827 [Tralee RC par records], sp Dermot O'Callaghan and Ellen O'Sheahan,
    census age gives born 1821, but that is clearly inaccurate.
    Father of children born 1852 to 1866.
    Farmer, of Ballynabrennagh, NE of Tralee, Co.Kerry.
    His son Denis inherited his farm at Ballynabrennagh.


  4. Bridget O'Callaghan,
    bapt 23 January 1831 [Tralee RC par records], sp James O'Callaghan and Mary O'Callaghan.
