Hugh X le Brun, Count de la Marche,
mar Isabella Taillefer [descendant of Henry I] and had issue:

1. Alice le Brun, mar John de Warenne and had issue.

2. William de Valence, 1st Earl of Pembroke (see here),
   mar Joan, Countess of Pembroke,
   her family's title re-created for him 1247,
   bur Westminster Abbey,
   had issue:
   1. Aymer de Valence, 2nd Earl of Pembroke (see here),
      mar Marie de St. Pol,
      died 1324 [title extinct, revived later in Herbert].
      Marie founded Pembroke College, Cambridge 1347, on what is now Pembroke St,
      she died 1377.

   2. Isabel de Valence, mar John Hastings, 1st Lord Hastings and had issue.

   3. Joan de Valence, mar John Comyn and had issue:
      1. Elizabeth Comyn, mar Richard Talbot, 2nd Baron Talbot and had issue.
