Thomas Colclough,
born 1724,
of Kings County (Co.Offaly),
on Co.Westmeath border.
Possible
descendant of Edward III
if (but seems unlikely) he descends from Colclough of Tintern Abbey.
See Wikitree
and jimbate.com.
Both of these sources think he is Thomas son of Adam of Boley
but that is wrong.
Both of these sources have him marrying in 1752 in Co.Wexford
to Mary Costello,
but that seems unlikely geographically, and also date must be wrong if his son is born c.1743.
This is probably a different Thomas Colclough in Co.Wexford.
