He was an army officer.
He served with distinction at
Siege of Boulogne
1544.
In 1561 he built
Haseley Manor,
Haseley, Warwickshire.
He became a Protestant (while other relatives stayed Catholic).
He died 12 Dec 1573 [stained glass window, Haseley church].
Clement and Catherine are both buried in a
beautiful tomb at Haseley church,
Haseley, Warwickshire.
There is a fragmentary surviving
stained glass window
above the tomb.
