Sir Hugh Conwy.
 Sir Henry Conwy, 
of  Bodrhyddan,
 near Rhuddlan,  Flintshire, Wales.
He mar Ellen Crevecoeur [dau of Sir Hugh Crevecoeur].
"Sir Henry Conway, Knight, of Bodrhyddan" 
 was returned in 5th Richard II
(in 1382) to do that monarch service as a Knight all his life
[1791 pedigree].
 He was  Constable of
 Rhuddlan Castle,  Rhuddlan,  
  Flintshire,  in 1399.
Bodrhyddan and Rhuddlan   were  historically   in
 Flintshire.
Now in 
Denbighshire.
 Sir Henry and Ellen had issue:
 Richard Conwy.
He mar Agnes Ratcliffe [dau of Sir Richard Ratcliffe]. 
He was 
    feudal Lord of Prestatyn, Flintshire (now Denbighshire).
He must   be the Richard Conwy who   built the first house at   
 Bodrhyddan,    Flintshire,
    in  the 
early 1400s. 
Bodrhyddan
is  only about  a mile from Rhuddlan Castle.
 
 
They  
had issue:
 John Conwy.
He mar
Elen Torbois [dau of Sir Harri Torbois,  or Torbocks or Torbock].
He died 21 September 1421. 
They
had issue:
 Jenkin Conwy,
of Bodrhyddan, near Rhuddlan,  Flintshire.
Most of the family had Norman/English wives, 
but he married a native Welsh woman.
He mar  
Marsli ferch Maredudd.
She was  daughter of Maredudd ap Hywel ap Dafydd,
 of Cefn-y-fan,
S of  Dolbenmaen,
in 
NW Wales.
 
[DWB] says  Jenkin   died    about 19 September 1432. 
[LANGFORD  in Burkes Peerage, 2003] 
apparently
says he died 1445. 
They
