    "J.P.", Jack,
    born in America in 1880.
    He returned to Dublin with his sister Elizabeth as a young boy.
    See him listed in 1901 census in Bray, Co.Wicklow. He is "Butter Commercial Traveller". Living with his widowed aunt Elizabeth Barton and her children.
    See him listed in 1911 census in Bray, Co.Wicklow. He is "Margarine Agent". Living with his widowed aunt Elizabeth Barton and her children.
    At mar 1916 he is listed as "agent", living Bray.
    He mar 1stly, 2 Feb 1916, to Eileen Dempsey [born 2 Oct 1890].
    He had an office at 5 Crown Alley, Dublin. Listed there in [Thom's, 1921, p.1557] and [Thom's, 1923, p.1557].
    Lived at 5 Mountainview Road, Ranelagh. They called the house "Derrybawn". Listed there in [Thom's, 1923, p.1888] and son's birth 1923.
    At son's birth 1923 he is "manufacturer's agent".
    Eileen's address at burial 1925 is "Derrybawn", Mountainview Rd. She is "commission agent's wife".

    Eileen dies, 1925:
    She got tuberculosis. She went into Midhurst Sanatorium, Midhurst, West Sussex, England. After admittance she was in isolation and not allowed to be close to her 3 small children for fear of contagion, which must have been very hard for her and them.
    She died of tuberculosis, Midhurst Sanatorium, 5 June 1925, age 34 yrs.

    Funeral 8 June 1925. She was buried in a Healy grave (purchased back in 1835) at Goldenbridge cemetery, Inchicore, Co.Dublin.

    John mar 2ndly, 18 June 1928, to Marcella Shaw [dau of Christopher Shaw, gentleman].
    Marcella was also widowed. Her 1st husband was called Clarke.
    They mar at Rathmines RC church. See mar cert from here. John is "merchant", 5 Mountainview Road.

    John dies, 1945:
    He is listed at 5 Mountainview Road, Ranelagh, in [Thom's, 1945, p.1243].
    He died at 5 Mountainview Rd, 11 May 1945 [burial record] or 12 May 1945 [death cert], age 64 or 65 yrs.

    Funeral 15 May 1945. He was bur with 1st wife in Goldenbridge cemetery.

    Marcella fl 1945.
    She might be the Marcella Healy, widow, who died at the Meath Hospital in 1957, age 76 (born 1881).
    John had issue by 1st wife:


    1. Canon Gerald Healy,
      Gerald Anthony Healy, born 1918.
      RC priest. He was in Opus Dei.
      Became Parish Priest of St.James', Dublin.
      Listed in [Thom's, 1987, p.1188] as P.P. of St.James', Dublin.
      He became a Canon.
      Lived at 666 South Circular Road, Dublin.
      He died 20 Feb 2006, age 88 yrs.
      He was bur at Shanganagh Cemetery, Co.Dublin. See grave.


    2. Dermot Healy,
      Dermot John Healy, born 1921. Known as "Tim".
      Lt. Col. in the Irish Air Corps.
      He mar Mary Spillane [born 1925].
      They lived Dublin.
      He died 12 Mar 2007, age 86 yrs.

      Mary died 28 or 29 December 2023, age 98, at Orwell Health Care Home, Rathgar.


    3. Fergus Healy,
      Fergus Joseph Healy,
      born 28 June 1923, 93 Lower Baggot St, Dublin.
