Gibbons


Henry Harding Gibbons,
born in Somerset.
He mar Agnes Maude Marshall Lyde [born Somerset].
He was a farmer at Church Farm, Clutton, Somerset.
He later ran a model farm at Langleybury, near Watford, Hertfordshire.

They had issue:


  1. Ralph Gibbons,
    William Henry Ralph Gibbons,
    born 5 Dec 1897, or 6 Dec, Church Farm, Clutton, Somerset.

    In 1921 census he is "farm assistant" on his father's model farm.
    In 1921 census Kathleen Gibbon is working at the model farm. They later married.

    He mar 18 Sept 1926 to Kathleen Gibbon [born 7 Dec 1899, descendant of Edward III].
    Her ancestors once used "Gibbons" but had long standardised as "Gibbon".

    Ralph researched his wife's family history.
    He redrew the Gibbon family tree c.1961.
    Ralph died 24 Nov 1965, age 67 yrs, in Napsbury Hospital, St Albans, Hertfordshire.
    Kathleen died 25 Apr 1972, age 72 yrs.
    They had issue:


    1. John Gibbons.
      He mar Louise Steer.
      They had issue:

      1. Rachel Gibbons, mar Dave ---.
      2. Kate Gibbons, mar Nigel --- and had issue.




The model farm to the W side of Langleybury.
