    Bagshawe was an Irish MP. This may mention the recent death of Rev. John's brother Capt. Thomas in Ireland in 1756-1757.

"Rev. Mr. Goddard, Rector of Tidworth" is listed on p.xix as a subscriber to Twenty-four Sermons by Leonard Twells, 1743.
This would be Rev. John Goddard.

(In the past, North Tidworth, where his father was Rector, was in Wiltshire, and neighbouring South Tidworth was in Hampshire. After boundary change they are now both in Wiltshire.)

His will dated 20 Mar 1785.
He died Mar-Apr 1785.
