At dau's bapt 1826 they are living 22 Stanhope St. He is "stay maker".

They later lived 67 George St, near Portman Square, London (see map).
"Mrs. Sarah Hallandal", staymaker, is listed at 67 George St in [PO Directory, 1841, p.94]. Also in alphabetic listing on p.416. Though listed there as of 17 George St. Probably an error.
Her husband was alive. But they used the wife's name in the directory (maybe because selling women's clothes).
They are listed in 1841 census on George St. He is "stay maker".

Admin describes him as late of 1 Spring St, Crawford St, Marylebone.

He died 23 Nov 1879, 1 Spring St, age 75 yrs.
