He had a natural child in Aberdeenshire in 1853 with Sarah Murray [born 29 July 1832] and later married her.
They and other family members went to America.
Her mother died in New London, Ohio, in 1865.
Sarah died 1 Dec 1870, New London, Ohio, age 38 yrs.
She was bur Grove Street Cemetery, New London, Ohio. See map. Section 2 - Row 20. See grave.
