He mar 1stly, Feb 1857, to Catherine McCoy [bapt 26 June 1836].
"Daniel Fitzgibbon" sp the baptism of his wife's much younger sister Margaret McCoy, Dec 1857.
Catherine died 1862.
He ran a grocery and public house in Rathkeale.
He died at his house, Rathkeale, 18 Aug 1880, age 56 yrs.

Daniel had issue by 1st wife:

1. Anne Fitzgibbon,
   Annie, born 1858,
   mar 1894 to Richard Charles Johnson and had issue.
