[Griffiths Valuation, c.1852] lists Denis Rahilly as co-occupying (with Michael Doherty) 79 acres (with two houses) at Glangristeen. Leased from Goodwin O'Leary.
Denis and Mary had issue:

   He must be John Rahilly, bapt 28 May 1826 [Glenflesk RC par records], son of Denis Rahilly of Shronaboy by his wife "Mary Boully" (probably transcript error). (todo) See original entry.
   He mar 1 February 1853 [Rathmore RC par records] to Catherine Moynihan [or Minihan, dau of David Moynihan of Rathbeg, Kilcummin parish, Co.Kerry].
   Listed at Glangristeen at baptisms 1854 to 1876.
   Catherine died pre-1901.
   John is listed in 1901 census as living Glangristeen with son's family. Listed as "retired farmer".
   He probably died pre-1911.
