Robert de Vere, 3rd Earl of Oxford (see here).
He succ 1214.
He signed the Magna Carta 1215.
He died 25 October 1221.
He was bur at Hatfield Regis Priory, at Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex.
Some parts of the priory chapel remain as part of the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Hatfield Broad Oak. The effigy of the 3rd Earl was moved from the priory chapel to the parish church.
He had issue:


Hugh de Vere, 4th Earl of Oxford,
died Dec 1263, bur Colne Priory, Essex,
had issue:


  1. Robert de Vere, 5th Earl of Oxford,
    mar Alice de Sanford,
    died 1296, bur Colne Priory,
    had issue:

    1. Joan de Vere,
      mar William de Warenne and had issue.


    2. Alphonsus de Vere,
      had issue:

      1. John de Vere, 7th Earl of Oxford, born 1312.


  2. Isabel de Vere,
    mar John de Courtenay and had issue.
