George Douglas, 1st Earl of Angus (see here),
mar 1387 to Mary Stewart [dau of Robert III, King of Scotland and descendant of Henry I],
the "Red" Douglases, Earls of Angus, had their seat at Tantallon Castle,
had issue:

1. William Douglas, 2nd Earl of Angus, had issue:
   1. George Douglas, 4th Earl of Angus, had issue:
      1. Archibald Douglas, "Bell-the-Cat", 5th Earl of Angus (see here), had issue:
         1. George Douglas, Master of Angus,
            mar Elizabeth Drummond [descendant of Robert II, King of Scotland and of Henry I],
            he was killed in Battle of Flodden 1513, in which Sir William Sidney fought on the other side,
            had issue:
            1. Alison Douglas,
               mar 2ndly to Sir David Home of Wedderburn and had issue.

2. Elizabeth Douglas, mar Alexander Forbes, 1st Baron Forbes and had issue.

The Earls of Angus are ancestors of the Dukes of Hamilton, of whom:

Archibald Douglas-Hamilton, 9th Duke of Hamilton, mar Harriet Stewart [descendant of Henry VII] and had issue:

1. Charlotte Douglas-Hamilton, mar Edward Seymour, 11th Duke of Somerset and had issue.
