Tomb of 1st Earl of Macclesfield, Westminster Abbey

The "Exeter vault" (or the "Cecil vault"), in the Chapel of St. John the Baptist at Westminster Abbey, London.
This is a floor vault beside the massive tomb of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter (died 1623) in the Chapel of St. John the Baptist.
A diverse collection of people are buried in the floor vault. A floorstone lists their names.
Charles Gerard, 1st Earl of Macclesfield was buried here in 1694 (new style year).
[Westminster Abbey Registers] says records show he was buried in the "Exeter vault" or the "Hunsdon vault" in the Chapel of St. John the Baptist.
