of Green's Norton, Northamptonshire.

He mar Maud Throckmorton [or Matilda].
She was descendant of Louis IV, King of France and of Charlemagne and of Edward the Elder.
He died 9 September 1462.
They are both bur Church of St Bartholomew, Green's Norton.
They had issue:


Sir Thomas Green, Kt.,
of Green's Norton,
born 1462 (age 43 in 1505).

He mar Joan Fogge [or Jane, dau of Sir John Fogge and Alice Hawte]. See her ancestry.
Joan died c.1493.
Sir Thomas was sent to the Tower of London on a trumped up charge of treason.
He died in Tower of London on 9 November 1506.
Sir Thomas and Joan are both bur Green's Norton.
They had issue:


  1. Anne Green,
    eldest dau, born 1489.
    She was said to be "aged 17 years and more" at father's inquisition, Mar 1507.
    She mar Nov 1507 - Jan 1508 to Nicholas Vaux, 1st Baron Vaux and had issue.
    She was a generation younger than him.


  2. Maud Green,
    born 6 April 1492.
    She was said to be "aged 13 years and more" at father's inquisition, Mar 1507.

    She mar to Sir Thomas Parr and had issue.
    Sir Thomas was stepson of Maud's sister's husband Nicholas Vaux.
    Sir Thomas and Maud were parents of Catherine Parr, Queen of England.
