The Tower of London

The Tower of London, on the River Thames in London.
Site of imprisonment and execution, notably of those accused of treason, which meant many members of nobility and even royalty.
Executions mostly took place on Tower Hill.
Many of the executed (or those who died in prison) were buried (with no monument) in the Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula.
