He mar Gwladus Ddu.
She is possibly a grand-dau of King John.
They had issue:

Roger Mortimer, 1st Baron Mortimer of Wigmore,
of Wigmore Castle, Herefordshire.
He mar Maud de Braose [descendant of Charlemagne and of Aoife Mac Murrough].
Acquired by marriage Narberth Castle, Wales.
Also through his wife he inherited Dunamase Castle, Co.Laois.
He died 1282.
Dunamase went to "Theobald de Verdun".
1st Baron and Maud had issue:

1. Edmund Mortimer, 2nd Baron Mortimer of Wigmore.
   He mar Margaret de Fiennes.
   She is a descendant of Alfonso IX, King of Leon and of Henry II.
   They had issue:

2. Isabella Mortimer, mar John Fitzalan, Lord of Arundel and had issue.
