Daniel O'Donoghue

Daniel O'Donoghue's 1st wife:
Daniel O'Donoghue (or Donoghue) was a widower at his marriage to Mary Fitzgerald in 1866. Identifying his 1st wife is tricky.
Daniel O'Donoghue the younger of Carrigeen died in 1955. Age given as 89 (born 1866).
However 1901 census has him age 40 (born 1861) and 1911 census has him age 54 (born 1857).
Search of Glenflesk RC par records for Daniel Donoghue before 1866 shows three Daniel Donoghue couples apparently of Carrigeencullia:

Most likely the 1st wife is Julia Scott and our Daniel was born 1857 (which makes him an amazing age 98 at death). But more proof needed.
