He moved to Skibbereen, SW Co.Cork.

He received compensation allowance.

Their son William is described as living Bantry at his mar 1937.

Margaret died Nov 28, 1942, Cork Mental Hospital, W side of Cork city, age 67 yrs,
of Hemiplegia, and
Mitral Endocarditis.
She was
bur Bantry Abbey graveyard, Bantry.
Eugene dies, 1946:
Eugene was still living Glengarriff Rd, Bantry, at time of his death 1946.
He died of a heart attack in church
while attending mass in Bantry,
Sun 20th Jan 1946, age 73 yrs.
He died in "Bantry Catholic Church"
[GROI]
or in "the Convent Schools", Bantry
[newspaper report].
Cause of death was noted as "probably coronary thrombosis" in
[GROI].
Funeral Tue 22 Jan 1946.
He was
bur Bantry Abbey graveyard, Bantry.
