First Lord of the Treasury 1718-21 (last pre-Prime Minister),
mar 2ndly to Lady Anne Churchill and had issue:

  1. Charles Spencer, 3rd Duke of Marlborough (see here),
    of Blenheim Palace [inherited his mother's family title],
    born 1706,
    mar Elizabeth Trevor,
    died 1758,
    Elizabeth died 1761,
    had issue:

    1. Lady Elizabeth Spencer, born Jan-Mar 1737,
      mar 1756 to Henry Herbert, 10th Earl of Pembroke and had issue.

    2. George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough (see here),
      born 1739, succ 1758, died 1817.
      Ancestor of Dukes of Marlborough.

    3. Lady Diana Spencer, mar Topham Beauclerk and had issue.

    mar Georgina Carteret [descendant of Henry VII, see descent by Leo van de Pas],

          mar 2ndly to Adelaide Seymour [descendant of Charles II and of James II],
