Our family
Our family starts as follows.
The reason we say this line is DNA proven is because of the DNA match with the family below.
-
Alexander Wilson.
"Wilsons" at mar, but most records are "Wilson".
Of the parish of Alford,
Aberdeenshire.
Alexander Wilson and his wife were said to have been originally from Archballoch,

Alexander married in 1767 at Alford.
Lived at Wellheads, S side of Alford.

DNA shows that the following Wilson family is closely related.
- Peter Wilson,
born 1726 or 1733.

His son was born at Alford in 1773 or 1776.
