  Marriage settlement dated 31 Aug 1921 at [NAI].
  See Estate Duty File 1079/57.

• Did Dick make a will in the 1930s?
  Tommy O'Brien thought that when the Thomond was a few years old, Dick left it in his will to his brother Emmet. Such a will would be in the 1930s.

• Can't find any reference to: Sean Lemass visit to Jones around 1930.

• The Barlee article
  • Henry Barlee thought he saw an article about the Thomond.
  • He thought it was 2-3 paragraphs. List of 8-11 Thomonds and what was known of owners.
  • He thought it was in 'Motoring Life'. He said it was NOT the Dick article in 1963.
  • DONE: 'Motoring Life' in [NLI] Ir 6995 m5. I searched 1949-1978, not found.
  • Done search in Irish Newspaper Archives. Cannot find anything.
  • Not sure it exists. If Barlee did not keep it, it is hard to know if it existed or is a confused memory.

2. Georgano letter says there is an item on the Thomond in The Garage and Motor Agent, London, 29 Aug 1925.
   • I had a search done for me of 29 Aug 1925 and 5 Sept 1925. Not found. But maybe they missed it. Need to search myself.
   • [BL]. 1925 issues are LOU.LON 366.
     1926 issues are LOU.LON 134.
     Stored offsite.

3. I had a note that the Barlee article might be in the British The Motor magazine, around the time of Dick's Motoring Life article in 1963.

• Did John McMullan own Thomond no.3 in England?
  • He moved to England to work for some years.
  • If Thomond no.3 was built for him, it might have been registered over there.
  • Records exist for various English counties, held locally. Not sure there are any central records.
  • Need to find McMullan address in England.

• Meadows engine sales records.
  • Find the engine number of Thomond no.4. Did it go to Dudley Colley?
  • Meadows factory were taken over by Jaguar.
  • Engine records were at the old Guy works until 1982, when this side of the firm was sold to Marquin Engineering.
  • Marquin said in 1985 that their records do not reach back beyond the 1940s.

• Automobile museums in England
  • British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Has extensive archives.
