James Eagar


James Eagar,
of Ballymalis and Cottage, Co.Kerry.
Ballymalis Castle, or Castle Ballymalis, is at Kilbonane, between Killorglin and Killarney, Co.Kerry.
It was confiscated in 1677 and became the property of Eagar.

James mar 1stly to Cecilia Holmes and had issue:


  1. Thomas Eagar,
    of Cottage and Ballyhar, Co.Kerry.
    He mar 2ndly, 1729, to Jane Spring and had issue:


    1. James Eagar, born 1731,
      of Cottage, Co.Kerry.
      He mar 1760 to Catherine Spring and had issue:


      1. John Moore Eagar, born 1771.
        He mar 2ndly, 1807, to Avice Blennerhassett [born 1742, a generation older than him].

      2. Jane Eagar, mar Rowland Eagar and had issue.


James mar 2ndly, c.1704, to Barbara McLoughlin and had issue:


  1. Alexander Eagar, born 1711.
    He mar Rose Anne Eagar and had issue:


    1. James Eagar,
      born 1730,
      of Ballymalis Castle.


    2. Geoffrey Eagar.
      He mar Rose Anne Eagar and had issue.
