Edward Neill,
or O'Neill,
born 1780.
"Edmond" at son's bapt 1807.
See wikitree.
Marriage entry says Edward and Lucy are both of Cromane, Killorglin par (W of Killorglin).
He mar 4 Feb 1804 [Kilcolman CoI church] to Lucy Blennerhassett [born 1779].
See discussion as to whether Lucy could possibly be a natural daughter of Arthur Blennerhassett of Fortfield.
They lived Cromane.
Children baptised in Killorglin parish 1805-1810. These records are included in the Kilcolman CoI parish records.
They are listed at Cromane at son's bapt 1810.
"Edmond Neill" is listed at Cromane in [Tithe Survey, 1823-37]. He holds over 37 acres.

  2. Edward O'Neill,
born 1806 [by age at death].
    See wikitree.
    Can't find his baptism.
There is an "Edmond Neal", son of "John Neal" and "Mercy", bapt 19 February 1806 in [Killorglin CoI par records] which at this time are part of Kilcolman CoI par records. This is not a bad transcript. This is what original says. Both parents are wrong. Could it be him? A garbled note sent from Killorglin to Kilcolman?

Edward mar 1842 to Margaret ---- and had issue.
Lived at Ballymalis, Kilbonane par, Co.Kerry.
See notes on the lost 1851 census entry.
"Edward Neill" listed at Ballymalis in [Griffiths Valuation, 1853, p.25].
He died 6 May 1900, age 94. See death cert from here.

DNA match to (Blennerhassett Baronets family) Desmond Devitt.

  4. Robert Neill,
bapt 29 Sept 1810 [Killorglin CoI par records].
The transcript says he was born 8 Sept 1810. But origin of this is unknown. It does not appear in the baptism record.

  5. Arthur O'Neill,
    Arthur Alfred, "Art",
Church of Ireland, born 11 Mar 1819 [grave].
"Arthur O'Neill" on mar cert. "Arthur A. O'Neil" on grave.
We cannot find Arthur's baptism, but Bill Jehan says he is son of Edward and Lucy. Many trees on Ancestry agree. His mar cert says his father is an Edward. Edward and Lucy's grave was erected by an "A. O'Neill". And the name "Arthur" also fits his possible origin.

At mar he is listed as shopkeeper, of Killorglin.
He mar January 1846 [her age 19] to Julia Langford [Catholic, born 16 Dec 1826].
    They had two marriages.
