There are many entries for a George Cashel or George Cashell of Tralee.
There seem to be multiple families.
- George Cashell, of Tralee.
His will pr 1760.
Will would be burnt in 1922.

Described as "formerly for many years a resident in this town"
(i.e. Tralee)
in Kerry Evening Post at his death in 1834.
He is probably "George Cashell, senior"
listed in
Co.Kerry freeholders in
[Belfast Newsletter,
19 July 1799, p.3].
Listed as living Dunkerron Castle, Templenoe par,
just W of Kenmare,
in 1814 Directory.
Referred to as demolishing antiquities at Dunkerron
in [Lyne and Moriarty, 1984].
He or his son must be
George Cashell of Kenmare listed as a Magistrate of Co.Kerry in
Official Authorities, County Kerry, 1834.

proved in Ardfert Diocese.

at the end of the 18th century.

refers to the racehorse Governor,
from the Tralee of around 1786.
It was
purchased from
"old George Cashel for 50 pounds a year,
terminable on the life of the present young George Cashel".

as occupying 33 Strand St, Tralee.
Renting it from landlord William Sandes.
Strand St is on W side of Tralee.
Ellen is described as widow, of Strand St, at death
[NAI].
Her will dated 20 May 1878. Copy in Irish wills register, pp.284-285.
Ellen dies, 1878:
She died 16 June 1878, at Strand St,
age 75 yrs.
Her will says she wants to be bur in the new cemetery at Tralee.
But
[O'Kief]
says she was bur Tralee old cemetery.
