• The back thinks this is his nephew Rev. Robert Conway Hurly, which would make it around 1810.
• However Hickson (below) says it is the uncle, and dated 1770.
• AI can make errors, but it is good at answering binary questions like: Is this portrait more likely 1770 or 1810? I asked ChatGPT that question and it gave multiple reasons why "This portrait looks more consistent with around 1770 than 1810."
