Rick Hourigan,
Richard, bapt 2 Feb 1856.
He registered his father's death 1883. He is living at Annagh, Co.Limerick.
In 1888 he bought Ahane, Biddyford townland, SE of Lisnagry, Co.Limerick.
NOT the Ahane near Newport in Kilnarath par, Co.Tipperary.

He mar 2 Mar 1889 to Margaret Smyth [born 1867].
She got pregnant immediately and gave birth in the same year.
They lived at Ahane.
He is farmer, living Ahane, at children's births 1891 to 1895.
They are listed in 1901 census at Biddyford (Ahane). He is farmer.
They are listed in 1911 census at Biddyford (Ahane). He is farmer.
He was at funeral of brother-in-law James Nolan of Newcastle 1916.

Rick died Ahane, 24 Mar 1923.

Margaret died 4 July 1934, Murroe, Co.Limerick.
She was bur at Caherconlish.
They had issue:

1. Katie Hourigan,
   Catherine, born 19 Dec 1889, born Co.Limerick.
   She mar 19 October 1921 to Michael O'Donoghue [born 21 February 1883, Lacken, Nenagh, Co.Tipperary].
   He died 24 December 1960, Boherlody, Co.Tipperary.
   They had issue:
   1. Matthew O'Donoghue.
      He died 23 July 1987.

   
   

2. Sarah Hourigan,
   or Sara, born 25 March 1891, Ahane, Biddyford. See birth cert from here.
   Lived in Ahane.
   She died unmarried, 9 Nov 1970. She was bur at Caherconlish.

   
   

3. James Hourigan,
   James P. Hourigan, Jim, born 29 June 1893, at father's family home, Annagh, Co.Limerick.
   He later inherited the old family home at Annagh.
   He built a new house at Annagh in 1932.

   
   

4. Patrick Hourigan,

5. Michael Hourigan,
   born 24 June 1898.

The death of the twin newborn boys in 1900.
One died an hour after birth, and so had not been given a name.
The other was then given the name Daniel, and died a few days later.
