   He mar 1933 to Eileen McGrath.
   He died 1975.
   They had issue:
   1. Michael Hourigan.
      He mar Patricia Murphy.
      He was FG councillor, Limerick city.
      Mayor of Limerick 2004-2005.
      They had issue:
      1. Neasa Hourigan.
         Green Party TD.

   He inherited Ahane.
