His father died 1960. Kathleen registered the death. She is living Knockelly Castle.
They inherited Knockelly Castle.
He died 1990, age 86 yrs.

What does the DNA prove?

I have a DNA match with Robert Heffernan.
I am related to these Heffernans through both Humphrys and Kickham.
So what does the DNA match prove?

In the Humphrys line, we have a common ancestor in James Humphrys. I am a 3rd cousin of Robert Heffernan's father.
In the Kickham line, we have a common ancestor in the early 1700s here. Some details on their side are unclear but on my side it is clear that I would be a 7th cousin of the Heffernans through this line.

So I will take the DNA as evidence for the Humphrys line.
I will not take it as evidence for the Kickham line.
