John Fitzgerald.
At mar he is farmer, living Killacolla, Kilfergus par, Co.Limerick.
Killacolla is near or in Glin village. There is a large Killacolla townland a bit to the E of Glin, and a small "Killacolla (Barker)" townland that includes part of Glin village (the NE side).
He mar 1870 to Agnes Nolan [bapt 21 Apr 1845].
They lived Killacolla.
She died of cancer, Killacolla, 5 July 1887, age 42 yrs. See death cert from here.
John fl 1887. He is farmer.
They had issue:


  1. Cornelius Fitzgerald,
    Con, born 1872, would be after grandfather,
    bapt 21 Aug 1872 [Glin RC par records], sp Con Nolan and Johanna Fitzgerald.
    He worked for Quinn and Co., Limerick.
    Listed as nephew of Julia Nolan at her death 1926.
    He erected his aunt Julia's gravestone.
    Lived Clonoughter House, Glin, Co.Limerick.
    He married. His wife died pre-1953.
    He died at Clonoughter House, 14 Dec 1953 [death cert, death notice] or 13 Dec 1953 [grave], age 81 yrs.

    See death cert from here. He is "retired commercial traveller", widower. Death registered by his distant cousin Michael Cussen, Coroner for West Limerick.
    Funeral 16 Dec 1953, bur in Fitzgerald grave in Mount St. Lawrence cemetery, Limerick.

    Listed as nephew of Julia Nolan at her death 1926.

    Listed as living at death of her brother Cornelius in 1953.
