Strand House, Limerick - The front

The front side (E side) of Strand House.
Home of Stephen O'Mara (died 1926) and his son, the younger Stephen O'Mara.

The garden on the W side.

The front when it had the porch

The front used to have a large porch.
The porch was removed c.1931.

Note: I used to think these photos showed two different sides of the house - the front with no porch, and the back with a porch. But the chimneys show that it is the same side of the house. All these photos are of the front - earlier with the porch, and later without the porch.
