He holds 47 acres, with a modest house.

The plot numbers do not remotely match the plot numbers in the text of
[Griffiths Valuation, 1853].
So we cannot say where plot 14 is.
Our family is probably identical with the following.
This is the only John Carmody we can find at Liscahane.
But gaps in
Ardfert parish records mean we cannot confirm this.

thinks mother is "Hannah" in Latin.
Note Jeremiah Carmody's eldest dau is called Joanna. Perhaps after her grandmother.

There is a Daniel Griffin, holding 49 acres,
"in two lots, one of which bounds the Commons (North)".
